One of the great things about being at a university is that you can attend all sorts of interesting things. Tomorrow lunch time I'll be enjoying a free lecture (with free sandwhiches :-) given by James Kunstler, an urban planner, about oil, environment, sustainability, etc... the usual...
I checked out his website and came across Eyesore of the Month which highlights some pretty awful architecture, like the example above. This happens to be the Czech National Library ! Read the commentary it's brilliant! Keep flicking through the photo-series as you'll find some real priceless gems.

That building is hideous! It looks like a radioactive germ infecting the city...very weird...like something out of a cartoon!
